At the end of Third Avenue, past the School and Porcupine Opportunities Program buildings, you will find Porcupine Place Sports Grounds & Zip Fields Ball Diamonds. Several ball tournaments and games are played at the diamonds every year. The Sports Grounds are host to our community’s annual Quilly Willy Days Sports Days event, which includes chuckwagon and chariot racing, ball tournaments, food booths, beer gardens, games and entertainment — and one of the best fireworks displays you’ll ever see! In 2020, brand new washrooms were built with funding received from Affinity Credit Union District Funding, Municipal Economic Enhancement Program, Porcupine Plain Minor Ball, and Porcupine Plain Sports Days Committee.

Porcupine Plain Pirates Senior Baseball Team
The Porcupine Plain Pirates joined the Highway 3 Baseball League back in 2022. The season will run from June through August, playing some competitive and entertaining baseball against teams from Arborfield, Birch Hills, Humboldt, Prince Albert, Hudson Bay and Tisdale.
